Asim E. Gulab is a partner with the law firm of Abram, Gulab, & Hutchison. His practice is concentrated in all areas of Family Law including Protection from Abuse.
Asim is a proud native Sussex Countian and a graduate of Sussex Central High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School. Prior to attending law school, he worked for several years for his family’s management company where he served as general manager for five hotels throughout Sussex and Kent Counties, and later, operated his own hotel.
Asim approaches his client’s matters from not only a legal perspective but also a practical one. During law school, Asim clerked at an established law firm in Sussex County and began his practice there. In 2024 he moved his practice and became a partner at Abram, Gulab, & Hutchison at their new office located at 217 South Race Street, Georgetown, Delaware
Asim’s practice areas include all Family Court domestic matters. Asim knows how to navigate a successful outcome for your matter and is not afraid to stand with you during this challenging time. He has successfully represented his clients in matters of high value property division as well as more modest ones. He has effectively represented clients on both sides of protection from abuse cases. He has guided his clients involving their custody matters to help all parties move forward with the best interest of the children in mind. Asim is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware, admitted to the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and admitted to the Bar of the Court of Appeal of Maryland. He is also a member of the American, Delaware, Sussex County, and Maryland Bar Associations.
